You didn't apply the maintenance releases (aka patches) to bring your 
DJGPP to the latest revision 1.12m4.  This problem is explained in the 
DJGPP FAQ list (available as faq102.zip from the same place you get 
DJGPP), section 6.1, and the way to apply the maintenance releases is 
discussed in sections 3.7 - 3.11 there.
