Where did you get Vim from?  My copy came with documentation.  If you got 
it from a SimTel archive, the source code should be available there too, 
if you want it.

I have Vim set up in its own directory which is part of the path.  You 
need to set up a VIM environment variable which points to where the 
help file is if you want online help.  The docs should be in a file 
called REFERENC.DOC.
