I'm having problems installing djgpp. I have got the following files:
00_INDEX.TXT
BNU252BN.ZIP
DJDEV112.ZIP
DJDOC112.ZIP
DJEOE112.ZIP
GCC263BN.ZIP
GCC263DC.ZIP
INSTALL .DAT
INSTALL .EXE
TXI310BN.ZIP
I unzipped them into a directory called \djgpp using pkunzip with the -d
option. Then all the files and subdirectories were extracted, but when I
tried to start the compiler (gcc.exe) it says:
go32 version 1.12 Copyright (C) 1994 DJ Delorie
Error: This program requires a version of go32 (1.12.maint3) newer than
this one.
Also the online help doesn't work. I'm talking about the info.exe file,
it only says:
info.exe: dir: file not found
Is there an IDE for this thing? And is there proper document for
installing djgpp? I'm currently relying on the FAQ.
Is it true that djgpp compiled programs cannot be run under dpmi?
