I too would love to have a free context sensitive editor (I make a lot of typo's). The following is from a reply on one of the linux newsgroups (in case people missed it): the class library that was written for HexEd (on sunsite; it's a binary editor application) looks almost exactly like turbovision 1.0. it also claims to be multi-platform (linux/dos)... grab HexEd and run it and compare.. Sorry about the double posting, I screwed up somehow.
