If you insist on a DJGPP-compiled version, there's a version of perl5.000
ftp://turnbull.sk.tsukuba.ac.jp/pub/ALPHA (or some similar path) which I
compiled about 10 months ago; however, I have made only those changes which
were strictly necessary, and the database stuff tends to crash & burn, so
I wouldn't (in general) recommend it.
I may port perl5.001 (or 5.002 if it's out then) to V2 when the final
version thereof is released; if so, I'll let everyone know.
For now, however, your best bet is on ftp.coast.net (or another SimTel site)
in /simtel/msdos/perl/.
