Wireless and quite a bit hopeless ..
Hello to anyone paying attention,
of course I know this may not be the right address, but in my pain and
urgent schedule I would be glad if this message could be forwarded to
*anyone* that could give me some hint.
So whoever : feel free to pass this note as is or add on, just retain
the questions and the return path.
I'm using an HP200LX Palmtop which I want to configure such a way,
that I can access the infrared interface talking slip.
I want to setup another machine (HP600 Omnibook) as a slip server
that handles communication from and to the Palmtop and passes the data
to the network rsp. retrieves it from the net.
The questions are :
* Is there a com port emulator available for the HP200LX infrared
interface, that makes it act as a common com port. Some software
(eg. slip) requires this.
* Isn't there a mailing list/news group for radio communications and
or palmtop users ?
Any hints appretiated
