Regarding that weird compile error (see similarly-titled posting above): I
managed to isolate and examine the temp file. What I did was start the
compile, then interrupt with ctrl-break just after the error messages
appeared so that the temp file wouldn't be deleted.
What I saw gave me no clues, unfortunately.
As a side note: usually, ctrl-break just halts a compile. But once in a
while it causes a *reboot* (not a hang, a reboopt) which is very annoying
(especially because I tend to use DOSKEY to cursor back up to long command
lines and re-enter them).
