Announcing version 0.3 of the Sound-Blaster library for DJGPP V2.
This package is a freeware API for the Sound-Blaster family of sound
cards. It was designed with games in mind, and uses DJGPP V2 because
it's hardware-interrupt routines are more robust and stable than 1.x
(even though V2 is still currently in beta.) All source-code is
included.
Here is a list of features this library offers:
* Background stereo 4/6/8-channel .MOD player.
* Real-time sample mixing, with volume individually selectable on
both speakers.
* Stereo panning for all digital samples (left/right speaker
volumes of individual samples can be modified while the sample
is still being played.)
* A full range of sampling rates (up to 45 KHz on some cards),
allowing for crystal-clear playback of .MOD and sample files.
* Sample-queuing (again, volume selectable on both speakers.)
* End-of-sample callbacks.
* Load raw, .VOC, or .WAV samples.
