Thank you for that reply. I've spent some time testing your 
converter, which appears to work quite well. With a little reediting 
of the GNU assembler .TEXI file I've successfully built the Windows 
Help version of this documentation.

However, I haven't managed to built the same for the complete GCC 
documentation. Makertf appears to run fine for this, however, HC31 
after considerable processing shows the following error:

Error 4774: topic...229 of gcc.rtf : Paragraph exceeds limit of 64K.

and aborts thereafter. I'm not sure where the problem lies here. ie. 
the GCC.RTF file produced by Makertf, HC31.exe, or the GCC.HPJ 
config. file.
The version of HC31 that I'm using is 3.10.445, which came with 
Borland C++ V3.1. I can't find any documentation of HC31 either.

I really want to persist with this, as the DJGPP documentation has so 
much more appeal under the Windows Help system.
