I will do thatever it takes to fix this in September provided the
DJGPP V2 beta is workable by then.

Negative. No such bug has been corrected, and it's not an Emacs bug
anyway, I think. Enjoy it while it's not there.
Again, V2 will fix this. Getting Emacs to compile under V2 requires
a little work not recommended for beginners at present.
