Hi,
I downloaded BISON from SIMTEL/msdos/djgpp and I'm having some problems.
First, I have go32 and all the other stuff you need at runtime for
such things, And I HAVE got it running.
But when it runs, it tells me it can't find /usr/local/lib/bison.simple.
Obviously this is a unix name, but I'm trying to run under DOS. So
I have two questions:
1) can I get this bison.simple file somewhere? It didn't come with
the bison executable zip file. There were a couple of parser routines
included with bison, just simple things. Can I put these together and
call it bison.simple?
2) Dos isn't going to like the name bison.simple. So even if I have
to live with the unix path spec (I'd rather not) is there any way to
get BISON to expect a DOS file?
Please don't tell me to change djgpp.env; I've already tried that and
bison didn't read it. In any case the directory specified in that file
is not the directory it gave me as an error.
Any help would be appreciated. I'd love to have it in e-mail if I can,
but I know that's not proper netiquette so I'll look for postings for a
few days.
David
