Sure I transferred it binary, or the zipfile itself would have been bad.
It unzips fine, checksum and all, and nm can see the names of the object
files, but it doesn't like anything else about it. ranlib'ing the
archive doesn't help, but it the linker does complain about a different
object file after I do so.
