I tried using mono - something I have not tried before - still the
same problem. GCC crashed with the same error message as before. I have
not used the "2rm 2r1" setting since I found about the "core" setting for
GO32.
When I first tried to run gcc I didn't have the "2rm 2r1" setting. I
started playing around with that to redirect the error message at crash.
That was how I got the error messages into a file so that I could ask for
help (in my original post). I wasn't to sure what the settings meant though.
Thanks for the information. Perhaps what you described to me about the
settings could be put in the FAQ list.
