One of the advantages of oemacs over demacs is better keyboard support.
Unfortunately, if you convert, you'll find that keyboard mappings need to be
reworked, so it's not a painless conversion.  Oemacs keyboard stuff isn't
perfect either; I've never gotten it to admit that function keys F11 and F12
exist.
