At Applied Intelligent Systems, (AIS), we use the GNU toolset as a cross-compiler
from SunOS 4.1.3 to i960, both Nindy and VxWorks targets, for machine vision.
We are currently investigating porting the DJGPP/GNU toolset for use as a
cross-compiler from DOS/GO32 to i960, for our Sun-impaired customers 8-).
We may eventually move to Windows/NT as a host platform, but this may be a
while. In the meantime, I'm using Linux as an intermediate host platform to
experiment with the DJGPP tool re-build, since the batch files that accompany
the release are hardwired for GO32 host/target. I've been running into some
interesting build problems. If anyone else is trying to re-configure the
DJGPP toolset as a cross-compiler, maybe we can swap info...
Thanks,
