The "Good Times" virus thing is a hoax, or at the very least that
warning message is---the person who wrote it is a complete ninny:

I have seen on news-admin.net-abuse.announce that the Internet
investigations group of the U.S. Dept. of Energy has declared this a
hoax, possibly perpetrated by a disgruntled AOL customer.

I have not verified this latter, so you can be careful if you like.
But if you download a "Good Times" message and your computer fries---I
will bet $100 against your $1 that independent investigation will show
that your site was hit by lightning at exactly the same time.  Offer
limited to first victim only; must be registered subscriber to DJGPP
list.  ;-)
