Why? I use dosemu and djgpp all the time on linux.
go32 apps work fine with the munged filenames...this is also
more portable since more people don't use umsdos...
For example, if you insist on naming an app rc file .apprc, you'll
have problems on dos...
Umsdos is something you can forget about once you start using...and just
know dos apps will only correctly understand 8+3...
