It's there guys, so dust off your news readers and contribute to the 
discussion.  I plan to extract the discussion and store it on an FTP
site every few days (I'll let you know).

If you don't contribute, it's as if you don't have an opinion.

The result may be completely different than the original RFD, so
monitor the discussions, and if you don't like the proposed changes,
say so.

Yes, news.groups is huge.  It will take some time for the next few weeks.  
But unless we get substantial support, it won't happen.
