Good point, since Chris will presumably be running a modern gcc on
FreeBSD.
Until recently I cross-compiled for DOS using MIPS workstations, so I
really did need the full set of gcc, gas and binutils! I guess that I
just operated on auto-pilot and continued doing the same for BSDI
(*blush*).
