Sorry to take so long to respond to everyone's suggestions.. I have been 
really busy.

Well.. I just ran make with no arguements [ and no makefile in the 
current dir ] and topline comes up  and flashes the little R and P's
[ real and protected mode? hmm.. neat :) ]
and then it crashes with:  0x0001b007

Meaning?

Suggestions?
