'Fraid not. deca is `da' [D is unused(!)], hecto is `h', and kilo is `k'.
In terms of the symbol `K,' however, it does make sense for K to be 1024
whereas k is 1000; of course, this breaks down with M, G, T (and P, E, Z, and
Y...) but it does look better followed by `B.'
