   djgpp does not modify the gnu sources, aside from porting issues.
   Questions concerning the status of gcc should be directed to

Also, there seems to be such a project going on at Linux; check 
Sunsite for details.  I think it's in the ALPHA directory <hilarious,
manic laughter ending in sobs...>.  Of course this may be the same
project.  But the Linux guys probably care more, so they may have
their own project.
