Subject:	compiler switch for optimization

Hallo all,
I vote for the default -O0. People doing benchmarks should know the
compiler switches to set optimize on. Another reason is stability as
mentioned with ghostscript. Debugging should be independent of optimization.
Or how do you want to find errors in optimized code?
