Subject: unfriendly diags:

I try gcc on a 387 with only 2Mbytes. I know this is not sufficient,
but the diag I get (after compelte installation except some
binary utilities like objdump/objcopy ???) is:

Unknown format file "0x2a2f" (plus a decimal number).
Then my system hangs up and I have to boot again.

Translation, please.
