Subject:	More memory problems

I am running djgpp on a 386 with ~3 megs XMS, and am experiencing the constant
page slow-down. Should I have my memory in a different configuration? It seems
that 3 meg ought to be enough to compile the simple programs I am running. I
checked the faq, but I am not very familiar with the various DOS modes, so
the pertinent section was pretty much over my head. Any help would be 
appreciated.
