Subject: | Bug(?) in memccpy()? |
I want to use memccpy to left-shift a part of a string, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm using 1.11m5. The following code gives an example of the problem: #include <stdio.h> #include <string.h> main(int argc,char **argv) { char *p, buf[BUFSIZ]; int i=atoi(argv[1]); strcpy(buf,argv[0]); p=memccpy(buf,buf+i,'\0',BUFSIZ-i); printf("(%d,%d, %X, %X): %s->%s\n",BUFSIZ,i,p,p-buf,argv[0],buf); exit(1); } Thanks David Ronis
