Here's how I do it: (not very elegant!)
Turn on your printer. Start GCC with the -v option. When it writes a line
like GNU GCC 2.5.7 386 [BSD] SYNTAX COMPILED BY GNU GCC 2.5.7 or
something, put one finger over the PRINT SCREEN button, or if you are in
Windows the Shift and PRINT SCREEN buttons. As soon as you see the first
error messages, press PRINT SCREEN or Shift-PRINT SCREEN. Keep on
pressing it to capture as many errors on paper as you can, although don't
hit it if there is a pause in the error messages.
