Subject: gdb for do32; debugger questions

the rumor mill has prompted me to ask the following question:

has gdb been ported to go32?
if so, where can get source/binaries?

also, i have been having severe problems with the edebug32 debugger
distributed with djgpp.

i am cross-compiling from NeXTstep intel with gcc 2.5.8 and binutils
2.4 configured for i486-go32-msdos. when i attempt to use binaries
built with debugging information under go32 (`go32 -d edebug32 foo
-flags') backtraces consistently appear mangled after a crash. random
characters in the names of functions are displayed as dos graphics
characters (smiley faces, arrows pointing in all directions, etc).
when i can make out the function names, the are often times obviously
incorrect, as is line number and file information.

the binaries i am trying to debug (with full debugging information)
are well over 13Mb.

has anyone seen this before and have any suggestions?

thanks for the help,

	- Cotton
