Well, I remember seeing a contributed addition to libc's printf()-sources
on this list a while ago, that added long double printing capabilities.
I installed them at home and they worked quite well for me. Maybe the
original contributor could upload them to omnigate or re-post them here???
According to K&R (p.245) the conversion character is an extra 'L' in
front of the 'e', 'f' or 'g' conversion character, e.g. printf ("%Lg", ld);
Maybe 2.6.x will include this.
