I find this necessary to use the (djgpp) program DISPLAY under DPMI, even though my card is supposed to support VESA directly. (My card is based on a completely different chipset. I don't know anything about your card.) Univbe is shareware. You can get it from oak.oakland.edu, pub/msdos/graphics/univbe43.zip.
