I'm not an expert on DOS memory management on x386 and up machines.
I have a current copy of go32...
When I run gdb (out of this zipfile:)
drwxr-xr-x 1.9 unx 0 b- stor 28-Apr-94 19:50 gdb/
-rw-r--r-- 1.9 unx 765952 b- defN 28-Mar-94 07:52 gdb/gdb
-rw-r--r-- 1.9 unx 765952 b- defN 28-Mar-94 07:52 gdb/gdb-dpmi
-rw-r--r-- 1.9 unx 51 t- stor 28-Mar-94 07:49 gdb/gdb.bat
-rw-r--r-- 1.9 unx 56 t- stor 28-Mar-94 07:49 gdb/gdbd.bat
-rw-r--r-- 1.9 unx 966 t- defN 28-Mar-94 07:49 gdb/readme.dos
it runs on Ms/Dos straight, but doesn't run under windows
at all (I get an infernal stack backtrace under windows).
what type of memory manager does straight DOS have?
can I run gdb under windows with this?
Information about dos extended memory managers would be useful
(Microsoft finally heard of virtual memory... ;-))
