Hi!

The patch.exe that comes with djgpp has a problem: it needs a directory
called "/tmp", or else it produces errors like "sector not found"

["Sector not found" is sometimes produced by MsDos when a program deletes
an open file and continues to work with the open handle.]

I suggest a minor change to make it use $TMP, $TEMP, or /
