You can get the sources of gnuplot (last version 3.5 I believe)
via anon ftp from ftp.dartmouth.edu (or from any SIMTEL20 mirror).
In the zip file (maybe a tar.Z file) there is a makefile for djgpp,
I compiled gnuplot with it and it worked, I don't remember if
it was necessary to do some patches, if it was they were little
ones. Anyway, if your professor wants gnuplot running on a PC
I think that it's better to get the Windows version (sources at
ftp.dartmouth.edu, EXEs at any SIMTEL20 or cica.indiana.edu mirror)
which is somehow easier to use.
