I have a very specific question regarding the Fortran-to-C-
converter, f2c.  I would like to use its output with the djgpp
port of the gcc C-compiler.  I am currently using djgpp version
1.09, but will upgrade to 1.10 if there is any compelling reason. 
I need to compile the f2c libraries libf77 and libi77 with djgpp
in order to do this.  I have the source files for the libraries
from research.att.com, which are updated to October 15, 1993. 
Apparently they need some slight changes in order to compile
properly with djgpp.  Has anyone done this with a recent version
of djgpp and a recent version of the f2c libraries?

I know that compiled f2c libraries are available by anonymous ftp
from various places, usually in a file named tpf2c100.zip. 
However, the library source files date from February, 1992, and
there have been a number of bug fixes since that time.

The f2c executable is available compiled from research.att.com,
but in order to make use of its output, I need the compiled
libraries.  The point of this exercise is to come up with a free
32-bit Fortran compiler which I can use at home, for example.
