Subject:	Does GrSetMode() work?

Hi, everybody
   Recently, I downloaded gcc241 from omnigate.clarkson.edu, along 
with all other libraries and binaries. After installation, I compiled
the files in samples/, but none of the program involving graphics
was working. I had downloaded an earlier version of gcc sometime ago,
and those samples worked just fine, therefore I am quite sure that
the configuration of my computer has no problem at all.   
   If anyone out there knows what is going on, please do reply,
thanks in advance. 
    OH... by the way, the functions which changes the rgb of the colors
do work, I saw the colors of the characters on my screen changing.
