In transferring a largish program to use djgpp, I had cause to write
some equivalents to Borland library routines. The specifications are
those given in my TurboC version 1.5 manual.
The routines I have written are:
biosmem
biosequip
bioskey
biosprint
using a new include file gppbios.h
and
fnmerge
fnsplit
getdate
setdate
gettime
settime
getdisk
setdisk
getdfree
with a new include file gppdos.h
They are packaged in the file pjbklib.zip on omnigate, along with a
makefile, readme, and a version which is already compiled in mylib.a
Also included is a version of fcloseall, rather a hack, which may not
work correctly, but a guru could comment on.
Tentatively, I'd like to propose that these get included in the
appropriate include files and in libpc.a when release 1.11 comes along.
Any problems to me :-), and thanks to all the people who have made the
porting task so much easier with their much larger contributions.
