We at ARDI have found DJGPP to be enormously useful. Originally we
were planning on using it to *prototype* our port of some of our
software, from NEXTSTEP and X to DOS. However, it worked
sufficiently well, that with the royalties removed and the GPL'd code
moved to a library which we don't use that we will be using DJGPP in
our first commercial release.
I'm using DJGPP to refer to the entire system. We actually use gcc
as a cross-compiler and do all our development under NEXTSTEP but use
go32 with the created executable. BTW, our application is pretty
complex and interesting. We should get a lot of press and we'll
favorably mention DJGPP.
Much thanks to everyone involved. I think we'll be able to
contribute once we're back in the black.
