Well, tell you what folks. I'll have a look into adding COM3 and COM4 support
to the async routines. 

I actually enjoy the occasional assembly language hack, but don't tell
anyone, ok? The world is convinced I'm firmly entrenched in C++ :)

I'll post within a week if I'm going to do it.
