Subject:	symbol question

Thanks to all who answered my question...many pointed out 
correctly that I was getting mangled names by using the C++
compiler and (erroneously) assuming that the symbols would
be "preserved" for the assembler.  I have not used C++ much
hence the screwup on my part.  Thanks.
