Subject:	Novell DOS (aka. DR DOS 7.0)

I just read in BYTE that Novell DOS should be in beta testing.  For 
those that haven't heard this version will have pre-emptive 
multi-tasking (which I barely understand) and several other features
that will bring DOS almost to being a true Operating System.
     
This raises several questions for me.  Most importantly is 'How will 
djgpp (GO32) be affected'.  Will all the wonderful FSF utilities I 
love and use still work?
     
Secondly, how will this affect Desqview[/X | 386]?  Will I have two 
multi-taskers fighting for control?
     
Lastly, will there be methods for 4DOS or other COMMAND.COM 
replacements to fire-up other tasks?
     
Anyone with an inside track on this?
