This is an odd selection of cross posts, but I don't follow too many news
groups and this question seems very fundamental.

I own a pc compatible running 4dos, dv/x, djgpp (gnu c++), perl, and demacs.
I am constantly downloading little C/X-Window/perl/elisp programs and there
associated man files.  I've tried installing xman for dv/x from anon-ftp to
qdeck.com, but I don't have all the proper fonts installed.  I have also
installed man.btm for 4dos from an archive in the 4dos directory of a simtel
mirror; it simply is unrelated to Unix man (troff?) format.  I also copied
man.el for demacs, but it tries to call a man binary executable.

Where can I find a _COMPLETE_ man or xman utility?  Or where can I find
complete C, perl, or elisp sources for man?

Perl seems like a logical choice to me.  Elisp routines could easily call
the perl script and it would save me from juggling another handful of once
run sources.  And what use is a GUI for man files?
