Hi!

I don't know if this functions are already anywhere, but you can get them at
iac.es (161.72.14.2), directory ~ftp/pub/dsg/split_merge.h

The functions are fnsplit() and fnmerge(), they split and merge a MSDOS path
and also check for the validity of it.
