The wonderful sysops at Clarkson have created an upload area just for
DJGPP patches and ports of applications. This area is in:
omnigate.clarkson.edu:pub/msdos/djgpp/pub
It is writable by "anonymous". I have created a patches-1.09
subdirectory there specifically for "diff -c3" patches to any official
1.09 distribution module. Ports of applications should follow the
standard directory layout rules, namely that when "pkunzip -d -o
app.zip" is used from the djgpp toplevel directory, it doesn't screw
up anything else in the djgpp area. This usually means that it should
unzip itself into a appropriately named subdirectory.
Please be kind to Omnigate and don't abuse this new privilege. After
all, they don't have infinite disk space either. Also, be careful
about copyright and copyleft restrictions! Remember, any GPL
application you upload MUST include sources!
If you've ported something to djgpp, or have patches for 1.09, please
upload them to djgpp/pub/puatches-1.09 or djgpp/pub and post the
announcement to djgpp-announce AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu so that we can
have a central location for all djgpp work.
Also, for modem access to omnigate's public BBS dial 315-268-6667.
djgpp can be downloaded through it as well.
Again, thank you Clarkson!
