    ... any chance the sources you've set up will become available?

The only changes I made were editing the config.h file after running
configure.bat and adding the following at the top :

#define MKTEMP_EACH_FILE
#define YES_UNDERSCORE
or is it YES_UNDERSCORES ? Check before doing that, I don't my configuration to look at it now.
Look at the files in the config directory.

then all you have is to compile. Use makel.exe or makel45.exe from
ndmake. As the make.exe will not have enough memory to process the
makefile.
