You can download the GNUmake utility from many
ftp sites.
To get their addresses, just ask an archie server,
(e.g. archie.unl.edu)
Login with "archie" and type "prog gnumake" to get
a list of sites from which you can download gnumake.
By the way, annother nice make utility is ndmake, 

which i found more easy to use than gnumake.
