> To compile a file with gcc, use "gcc [options] file.c" The extension > of the file must be: .c, .cc, .o, .a, .i (note the lower case). gcc > uses the file's extension to tell which thing to call (cc1, ccplus, > etc). I tried that too, and had the same results I talked about before... :(
