The problem is that not all video BIOS's conform to the standard modes recommended by the chipset makers. The driver picks, for example, mode 0x47, which it *thinks* is 800x600. The card, on the other hand, knows that mode 0x47 is really 640*480 mode. You may need to adjust the mode numbers in the tseng4k driver for you specific card. DJ
