mail to listserv AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu with a line like this:
DELETE djgpp <your e-mail address>
> [excerpt from listserv help]
> ADD address listname
> DELETE address listname
> adds or deletes the given address to or from the list
> specified. Mail is sent to the address given to confirm
> the add or delete operation. We strongly recommend that
> you use your campus registered mailname when subscribing
> (i.e., use the second form of the command which includes
> a specification of the address). If you omit the 'address'
> the command will assume the mailbox that is in the From:
> line of the message. Note that SUBSCRIBE is a synonym for
> ADD; UNSUBSCRIBE for DELETE.
is the perferred way of getting off the list. You should get a
confirm with this message type. You can include as many of these
lines in a message as you can think of addresses the listserv might
have.
djgpp-request AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu is read by a person at intervals to
handle problems with the listserv.
Note that there is a djgpp-announce list a the same site.
