If people are still looking for a gnuish make, I can report that
-rw-r--r--  1 1716     12         223462 Oct  4  1990 make358.arc
from the msdos/gnuish directory on the simtel mirrors works on my pc.
The executable is identical in *length* to (but very different from)
the executable I extracted from make358.zoo. The latter did *not*
execute on my pc.
