Though this is 1.06 related:

I gave 1.06 to a friend two weeks before 1.07 was released.
Now he told me he's getting a Fatal: tried to use not present 80387
exception 7...
when he *compiles* a simple hello world program.

I don't know if this is a 1.06 problem or what he might be doing wrong
but can anyone tell me what I can tell him?

Should I get 1.07 for him?
